
Plow Pose or Halasana is a common pose with numerous benefits.
The Sanskrit word “Hala” means Plow. When practicing Halasana, the body looks like a plow.
The pose is known to be good for people suffering from leg cramps. Plow pose is commonly practiced near the end of class just before Savasana.
The pose is also considered to be a minor inversion.
