It's always nice to have Lulu and her soothing voice back on the site for another class! This time Lulu will guide you through a short and sweet class that's focused on traditional Moon Salutations. The class will help you to ground your energy and tap into your Yin receptive energy. Lulu starts the class on her feet and then moves to grounded postures on the mat. This sequence is suited for beginners and all yogis, and if you're short on time it should work out great! Poses include Tadasana (Mountain Pose), Utthita Parsvakonasana (Extended Side Angle), Malasana Variations (Yogi Squat/Garland), Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose), Balasana (Happy Baby Pose), and more. As always practice safely. Enjoy!
Lulu is back with another class! This time Lulu will guide you through a short 23 minute sequence that is geared to take a more gentle approach to working your core. During this class you will stay grounded to your mat with no standing postures. Strengthening your core is a vital part of your yoga practice, poses will become more accessible as your core gets stronger. Lulu will give you the chance work on the core without having to sweat as much! This class is suited for beginners although some of the exercises may challenge beginners. Poses include Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand), Vasisthasana (Side Plank), Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose), also variations of Pada Sanchalanasana (Cycling Pose), plus a variation of ab and core exercises. As always practice safely. Enjoy!
Naturally, we're very happy to welcome instructor Lulu Lam to the site! Lulu is a local teacher in Los Angeles, plus she's a hula hoop professional! She has a soothing voice and warm personality that's sure to put you at ease. Lulu's first class is a slow moving flow geared toward opening the hips and helping to strengthen the back. This class is ideal for people who spend a lot of time sitting and the sequence should be comfortable for most all beginner students. The hips and back hold much tension and stress, hopefully this 40 minute class will aid with releasing it! Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana(Downward-Facing Dog), Marjaryasana & Bitilasana (Cat/Cow Pose), Utthan Pristhasana (Lizard Pose), Low Lunge, Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and more. As always practice safely. Enjoy!
