This class will offer postures to help with spine health and flexibility, it will also offer some poses to help build core strength which is essential to protecting our back and spine. We would consider this class to intermediate but there are numerous postures suited for the beginner. Restorative yoga can be especially helpful to those who wish to calm the mind and find stillness. In this class, Leeza offers a variety of common restorative postures, including spending some time at the wall. Like all restorative classes, this one is well suited for the beginner and props are present in the class. Yoga blocks, blankets, and a bolster will be helpful. Poses include Balasana (Child's Pose), Viparita Karani (Legs Up The Wall), Savasana (Corpse Pose), Sucirandhrasana (Eye Of The Needle Pose), Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Supported Bridge Pose) and more. If you're a fan of All Level classes, then Leeza's Tour of Poses might just hit the spot. In this class, Leeza will provide you with a wide range of both intermediate and beginner postures along with a touch of flow. The sequence offers standing poses, backbends, forward folds, postures for strength and core, and also a few nice stretches. This pose tour is 40 minutes in length and probably best suited for the intermediate student, although many poses are beginner level postures. Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog), Utthita Trikonasana Pose (Triangle Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra), Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose), Prasarita Padottanasana (Wide Legged Forward Fold), and more. Twisting poses offer many benefits, twisting is a great way to help detox the body and twisting is also beneficial for a healthy spine. In some cases, twisting can also help with lower back pain and digestion. This class is about 37 minutes in length and would be considered an intermediate or Level 1/2 class. Poses include Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog), Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward-Facing Dog), Low Lunge, Utkatasana (Chair Pose), Anjaneyasana (Crescent Pose), Parsva Bakasana (Side Crow Pose) and more.
