Of course, we all love those tricky arm balance poses, they're fun and at the same time they can drive you crazy! Like most yoga postures, arm balances require good core strength and Jen will try to lead you through a 25 minute class to help you build a foundation for nailing those arm balances. Naturally, this class is best suited for intermediate students who have started to experiment and practice arm balance postures. Jen will guide you through a variety poses designed to work the core and get you prepped for headstands. If you're not quite ready for inversions, this class can still benefit you as you work toward getting upside down. Headstands can help relieve stress, help blood flow, improve digestion and build strength in your core. This time Jen brings us a well rounded beginner's class which focuses on helping you work on those poses that may require a little extra attention. The class gives you the chance to focus on alignment and foundation for some balance poses and also mixes in a little flow. Jen demonstrates the proper use props such as blocks to help you attain balance and foundation for certain poses. The class doesn't require the use of props, but a block and strap may come in handy if you wish to use them. Jen will also help you with your Crow Pose and Head Stand.
